Al Skop
From DogstarRadio
Weekdays 6pm – Midnight ET
Al’s first radio station was a Mr. Microphone set to broadcast to the entire Skop house. Let’s just say on SIRIUS XM Radio, he covers a bit more ground, but it never goes to his head. “Running into Brad Paisley and chatting with him one on one was like chatting with an old buddy, and we’d just met!” At one of the first country radio jobs that Al had, his office had previously been used by Patsy Cline to sing on the radio. Maybe it was the ghosts, but that’s where his deep passion for country music — both new and old — sunk in good. Plus, his wife thinks he’s “Crazy,” so we guess it all worked out nicely.
