Tom has known for a long time that he wanted to be a DJ. "I was 14 when my parents bought me an alarm clock/radio. I listened to it all the time, and knew that I wanted to become a DJ. Also, I had seen a picture of a DJ on a local station in my small town. He was sitting back with his feet propped up on the counter with his hands folded behind his head. I thought, 'That's the kind of job I want!'" He says that his best experience on the radio (so far) was getting to interview Jars Of Clay. We might even let him interview them again – but only if he stops putting his feet on the mixing board!
